Its had what feels like a misfire occasionally on cold starts, and today it finally lit off the light when accelerating.  Oh well, timing cover has a slight oil leak, and its due for an oil change anyways.

Just shy of 19k, oh yeah.

Both common issues, coils and timing cover leaks on the ‘ol Pentastar V6

Wow, leaks and possible bad coils at less than 20k?  That’s a bit obscene.  We have 60k on our Pacifica, with the pentastar and it’s been perfect thus far.  Transverse mounted though, so that might impact things a bit.

We definitely see more leaks on the longitudinal mounted Pentastars, and you have the upgraded version. We haven’t seen those leak.
